Customer Reviews: Solidly built July 11, 2010 J. Zornig (Lincoln, MA) This was a replacement for a Samsonite that I had used for 20 years. I have never had a Travelpro product fail, so I tried this one. I bought the model without the wheels. So far it seems fine -strong, convenient, roomy. I expect another 20 years.
Great Tote/carry-on: Travelpro Crew 7 Tote June 1, 2010 Mark Petrie (London, UK) Packs all my carry-on essentials and allows for easy access with the multiple compartments. Really like the front loading aspect on those long haul flights. Only downside is that I'm not crazy about the chestnut color.
Not a good carry on option March 5, 2010 Doctor John G (Little Rock, AR USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This tote is not a good option for the traveler who likes an organized, light carry on. There are no dividers in the body of this bag and the zippered outer compartments are far too small to accommodate any item larger than a pair of gloves or a small camera. Even without rollers, it does not fit easily under the seat or in the overhead bins. When filled, the slightly padded shoulder strap fails to provide any measure of protection from a painful experience as one moves from gate to gate. My bag will remain in the closet when planning future air travel. My smaller, highly organized rolling briefcase was much missed on my recent trip to Europe! What was I thinking?
